I went for a walk by Red Rocks which is where the Royal Liverpool Golf Course is located and sure enough I encountered this little lady. She was too close, I had my long lens combo on so I recomposed slightly and added a little canvas. Sharpening was minimised.
(I have just noticed there is a hair bottom right on the gorse!)

Details look good as usual love the green perch. Maybe the bird is just a little large, nothing could be done. Background compliments the bird nicely. TFS

Hi Jon ... nice clean shot .
Overall it looks good to me .
Personally I might open up the tonal range from dark to mid tone .... a truck load of details will come up , I think . Plus I would reduce the blues as the legs and bill are looking a bit blueish ....

    Nice work Jon

Andreas I agree, I lifted the darks slightly but I should have broadened the mask - the legs and bill - plumb forgot to check blues!!
