The broad-billed Hummingbirds have started returning already Seems a tad early but who's going to complain?

I like everything about this one Kurt apart from the OOF perch above the back of the bird....What a great pose, colours and sharpness look good here....With the bird looking upwards I would be inclined to lower it slightly in the frame, and personally I would remove the OOF perch....it would still look good forming a 'fork' with the other part.

    Well done

pose looks great, there is a bit of shadow but doesn't distract too much. BG shows some pixilation/ compression artifacts. I'd also burn the highlights on the perch

    very nice frame TFS

Kurt, you captured the iridescence nicely once again. Interesting pose with the slight gaze up and nice wing pos.

Perch maybe isn't all-world with the oof section but the striking colors against the smooth bkg palette work really well.

I also noticed what Arash mentioned on the bkg pixelation. Not sure why that happened.

Love to come shoot with you sometime.

Thanks Brian! I’m not sure either. It’s not appearing that way on my Mac. I’m wondering if it’s something with the color space? I’ll double check my settings to see if I can resolve it.
