    Taken last December. The sun had just started to break through the fog. I removed a branch from behind the bird. I wish the branch above the bird had a little more separation.
    I think I used audio to draw in the bird. Processed with DeNoiseAI.

    Hi Jack ... a very fine base image .
    Love the frosty perch , nice warm last light ....
    Just wish for slightly less contrast in the subject .... personally I think it would fit better to the last light .

    I love these hoar frost-laden mornings! Looks great overall. I agree with you about more separation from the branch above the head, and a few faint smudges below the tail could be smoothed out, but all else looks great to me.

    Envious of that frosty perch - nothing like it here in Coastal California! Bird looks good - I like contrast! - and the warm light fell really nicely across his face.
    The feet are super cool as well. A nice sharp frame. Branch above is a bit close, but the frost on it is really money.

    I agree with all points given. Even thought the branch is close and not ideal, the frost makes up for it a bit.
