    Hi David, nice image of a Great Egret with nicely colored lore. Wonderful soft light, pure background. I think the image would be improved if the lore and the white feathers above it were cleaned up, it is unfortunate that that area is stained. Thank you for sharing.

    Sweet light, good BG, nice details. A bit better frontal light would have prevented the shadow on the body - did you have a way to move well to your left and wait for a head angle from there, or were you limited in movement such as on a boardwalk or other? In any regards, we don't see them much in breeding colours up here, so this is a treat!

    Killer lighting on those lores, David. Details and exposure look good, and the distant BG really help the subject pop! Woulda been nice to get left to lose those shadows, but you might have ended
    up with a more disinterested head angle if you moved in that direction. That's where I whistle to force eye contact!
