I like it, good pose, clear view of the eye. The yellows and blue contrast nicely and reflect well on the bird's belly
(I appreciate the light was yellow but I reduced the yellows a bit with the Color balance tool in ACR, this seemed to improve ever so slightly the overall image but also more detail in the duck's darker feathers).

Hi Joe ... nice wing flap and the overall color tone combo is nice , as well as the ripples in the water .

Color matter of taste .... if this was mine ... I might check the WB . The image does have a slight magenta cast .... for my eyes and eyedropper .

Check the fine thin line along the dark edges of the bird ...

    Nice one and TFS Andreas

Love, love, love the light, the pose, the water and the details. Yes to just a little less yellow and slightly more details in the shadows but I really love this frame as is. TFS

Thanks everyone for viewing and commenting, much appreciated.

Here is a edit reflecting the suggestions offered for improving the image. Less yellow while still trying to keep the warm early morning light and the correct WB, maybe....

Hi Joe .... another version , with magenta removed and the warmth in the lighter tones kept as well .

Curve adjustment for removing the magenta cast
Selective color to add warmth to the yellows

    WDYT ?

    Cheers Andreas
