Been going through some older files and this is one I reprocessed from a while ago...as you do, during this lockdown.....For this shot I was sitting in amongst the rocks at low tide, under a cam net. Just before the sun went down, this Curlew flew in, directly towards me, touched down, saw me, then immediately flew off....I managed to get locked on the bird at the last second, and got three shots....This is full frame, cropped slightly for comp....HH...ACR and PS2021.

awesome pose William love how the light has lit up the under wings, sharp. could go a tad warmer and brighter. I wish the bill had cleared the body

I saw this and went WOW and I suspect there will be many others with a similar reaction. This is one of the outstanding images of the year so far in my opinion. The light and the wing position is beautiful, water droplets and raised foot, like I said - WOW!

Light and pose are very nice. I agree, I wish the beak had cleared.

    Hi David,

    congratulations,

I would be glad if you have a favorite setting on the flight with 1dx2.

I'll go with WOW! Beautiful sunset shot, nice work to get him full-frame at the spur of the moment without clipping a wing. As Arash already noted, my only nit would be a wish he had turned his head about one millimeter so the bill cleared the body.

Hi Volkan....I use Case 3...Tracking sensitivity -1 ...Accel/decel tracking +1 ... AF pt auto switching 0...Al Servo ...Manual Selection 1Pt AF. This seems to work for me...
