    Taken a couple of weeks ago while looking for harriers. Sometimes you just take what you can get. Taken out of the window of my vehicle.
    I have an image of the bird turned more and looking in the opposite direction. I find the bird looking in the direction of the perch more appealing.

    I have to agree, this pose goes much better with the framing and flow. The perch, the BG, the details and colors, all spot on. Awesome canvas overall... TFS

    Yes, I agree this would work better than looking the other way as you have all those lines arching left-to-right, including the contour of the sparrow. Very appealing lines. I'm sure a bit more room top and right would work well, as well as toning down the contrast as it seems heavy to me? Sharp, beautiful perch, excellent BG.

    You're probably right on the contrast. I had to go back and check what I did with the raw file. I did bump the contrast more than usual for some reason.
