Dot and I went to Circle B Bar Reserve early this morning. Not much happening but we found a few birds to photograph. I captured some good images of this female Northern Cardinal. Comments and critique welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for viewing.

Looks good to me Joe....Nice colours, detail and pose on the bird...Thin perch and the 2 colours BG is nice. I would blend in the lighter patch at top LHS, right in the corner.

Looks pretty good to me. I'd probably clean up the eye a little.

I like the diagonal line of the perch, two tone BG and composition. Nice image Joe.

    Hi Joe ... a super shot .
Perfectly clean and the duo color BG is very nice .
Nice fine details and a good overall tonal range .
Personally I think the WB is somehow a little off .... .... IMHO

Hi Andreas, thank you for viewing and commenting. What do you see that makes you think the WB is a little off?

Hi Joe .... for sure I am saying this from my POV and I might be wrong , personal taste !

I looked visually and checked with a PS tool the color values .... came to the conclusion that the colors are slightly " off " .

    For demo ... a " corrected " version . Just two curves layers .... WDYT ???!!

Hi Andreas, your right. I checked and the Tint in White Balance was too much towards magenta. I did a do over... WDYT?

Hi Joe .... as color is very subjective , leave it to you what is good . And matter of taste ....

Personally I think it is a cool version , your RP , whereas mine is a bit warmer . You can decide ....

    Cheers Andreas
