I didn't realize how few recent images I have of red birds. I rarely bother pointing my rig at Northern Cardinals anymore. Taken May 2018. I can't remember any details.
I apparently didn't have time to rotate to vertical. This is full frame plus vertically, canvas added to the top and bottom. Reedited with DeNoiseAI. Didn't remove anything
from the BG. Cleaned up the eye a little.

    Hi Jack,

    bg and IQ good.
Red and naturalness is very good.
The framing is a bit cramped.

nice pose and details, I would personally go for a vertical crop with a bit more room, some of the reds are a bit over. sharp with excellent details

Hi Jack .... back in my face .
Cool frame and a superb subject .

One more vote for a vertical crop and the reds are a tiny bit too intense , IMHO .

    TFS Andreas
