I'm sad to share that our 8 month old son was recently diagnosed with cancer. Words can't express the pain that news like this brings and I haven't really had the motivation to get out and shoot nor spend time posting and sharing with my BPN family.

We're still waiting on an official prognosis and it's agonizing. Don't know how much opportunity I'll have to photograph in the coming weeks but hopefully I can poke in from time to time to see you all and get some reprieve.

Anyway, shot this male Kingfisher in December and processed just before we got the news.

Well this is fairly spectacular.... I might move it back in the frame a tad.
As a father with a daughter with stage 4 cancer, I completely understand your pain and worry. however, my daughter is doing well 3 years on but
it was a kick in the gut but there is also always hope.... Hoping for the best for your son and your family, there are amazing cancer drugs out there, amazing clinics and doctors
but you have to be proactive and push as hard as you have ever pushed in your life to get the best care.
My wife is 2 years out from Colon cancer, she is about through it and came out as well as possible.
    I wish you the best.

I am in awe at the outpouring of love and support by you all. This is a rare, but exceptional community and I feel blessed to be a part of it.

My family and I received every one of your prayers and words of encouragement. We can't get enough right now.

I assure you I will be here more regularly sooner than later. In the meantime, blessings to each of you <3
