    This young Red-tailed Hawk was attempting to land on a telephone pole guy wire a few days ago.

    D500, Sigma 150-600C @ 600mm, ISO 800, 1/2500s @ f/6.3 manual. Full frame.

    Sharp. Guy wire doesn't bother me. Nice behavior image.

    Not something you see every day Bill, which is why this is kinda cool. Perched on a pole or a dead limb maybe, but haven't seen one latched onto a braided wire like this.

    Super sharp and the intent gaze lifts the frame. TFS.

    Hi Bill .... really cool shot in terms of processing output !!!

    Very very well done , IMHO .

    Personally I am not a fan of the image content , but really enjoy looking at the colors , tones , details ...

    The pose of the bird holds my interest and the colours/processing want for nothing.

    Thats a beauty Bill......Details on the bird are real good...I think the pose looks fab...If you have the canvas...A vertical may work better with the bird smaller in frame.

    Hi Bill, I like it because its so unusual Bill, image quality is terrific and i think this red tail could do a lil pole dancing as well!
