    I was pretty happy too when the snow started to fall while photographing these great birds as I know how this adds lots to an image. I like this pose as it shows the beautiful black-and-white wings.

    Canon 7DII + 500mm f/4 II, manual exposure, evaluative metering, 1/800s., f/5.6, ISO 1600, natural light, handheld, FF. Setup near a feeder.

    Really does look happy with that perfect look back. Love the colors, details, lichen and of course the snow. FF as usual with wonderful framing... TFS

    You're spot on with the pose, perfect. Open mouth adds.

    Lichen and snow with the soft, neutral bkg compliment nicely. Well captured!
