    Default Blazing Breeding Beauty,,,

As this beauty finally landed in a clear area, the dropping sun came out from a thick cloud. Seeing no sticks, was about to fly away. In full manual all the time, I simply rolled the shutter to adjust SS and grabbed this beauty in full intense golden light. Got two frames at 20fps before nothing but wing... Behind and far to the left of frame, the sun was dropping and so low the catch light is in the iris.

Love the pose and a beautiful golden light for sure! Lovely detail in the plumage and sharp as a tack. Killer background!! Cheers.

Looks super David, the background compliments beautifully and the details in the bird are very good. DOF looks ideal.

First, Thanks to all for astute and valued inputs and encouragement. Professor Liedmann, thought you might have been interrupted in your feedback as I always await, and look forward to, the other shoe dropping, or as they say the "but". Rest assured, I go out at sunrise/sunset just for this golden look and would never neutralize. Seriously, thanks for the very valued help and looking forward to more of same from all of you astute gentlemen.

Like this one a lot David. I enjoy the matching colors of the green and yellow on the bird and the background. Beautiful light, whites look to have maintained detail, and the eye through tip of bill nice n sharp.
