    Hi Jon .... a diver !
    Cool and fun capture .
Again I might open up the blacks a fraction , albeit being far away from clipped .
Personally not becoming friend with your boxy crops , but your call .... to me this little chap needs more room for the dive .
Had a read about your ProCapture .... as conclusion I would think one needs more DOF for a better output .
As the finest detail is visible on the body .

Nevertheless cool to see your approach

    TFS Andreas

Andreas, more DOF would be a nice luxury, probably the best way would be to reduce the magnification of the subject, I'll try my 40-150mm zoom with MC20 (2xTC) which is effectively then 160-600mm so I could try at say 500mm equivalent- I'll hope for some light tomorrow!

Well Jon ... for sure not easy to get it right , at least you could have pushed the Iso to gain more DOF
Just for my info ... for what reason are you going the boxy way , recently ?

The sensor shape is 4:3, hence the shape, I guess I just fancy a bit of a change every now and then.
I also think I am being unnecessarily reticent in using higher ISO. ISO 3200 is usable but 6400....mmm well, I need to work on - I don't always get consistent/satisfactory results. I have nothing to lose, plenty of time, maybe I will also do higher ISO!!

Ok why not leaving the path in terms of cropping .... if you like it .
Regarding Iso I thought Topaz can do magic things .... so push that Iso

Topaz is good, you can be reassured of that.

How'd I miss this one. Non pixel peeper here loves the DOF as is. The BG is so silky smooth and killer. Your eye traversal, any way you slice it, is going to lead to that face/eye. Yes to pointing a little further down(way easier said than done...). A striking canvas for me. TFS
