    Default oops I dropped one!

Lots of rain here the past week, so managed to observe these Magpies organizing lunch during a dry spell in the weather. I like the look of the female on the right as she focuses on the insect falling.

Love the clear view of this interaction, Paul. I too love the female following the fumbled meal. Nice angle into and framing of this moment. The prey takes it to another level for me. TFS

Reminds me a bit of the Artie gannets exchanging food image from a few years back - it had a piece of food falling like you have here. The "spit" strand gives the couple some connection. Just enough dof to get both in focus. I do wish the insect was sharper but I still like it as it free-falls into safety (?). Nice to see other tidbits in the mouth so all is not lost. You could try lifting the blacks on the right individual's face - not much needed but it looks to be a touch in the shade perhaps?
