got this at local park, not that many birds but a few good passes. This is a full frame image, i.e. no cropping at 1200mm, don't ask me how it fell in almost a perfect position in the frame :). The sony A9 II AF is superb keeping the shots in focus even when the bird is close/big in the frame. Thanks to no blackout you can actually see what is going on and follow these fast flyers.... I can't wait to see what the A1 will do with twice everything. I predict it is just going to be stupid

    shot with A9 II and 600GM + 2X TC. ISO-800 f/5.6 1/3200 sec hand held processed with C1P.

Nice shot, I like the pose and colours....... I was a little surprised at the presentation - I had the impression you preferred slightly warmer colours. (??)

Thanks Jon the colors look warm enough on my screen. It represents the actual scene.

    Arash:

Remarkable job capturing it full frame at that focal length. Full down pose.

Nice details, the small waves creating horizontal lines adds to the sense of motion.

    Cheers

Insanely good. Center Zone or Wide AF? Or ? I love that she looks as if she is wearing a helmet.

Very nicely done! Especially full frame. No nits from me, just wish I had Goldeneyes in Arizona...I miss them. But glad to see them represented so well here.
