From Flatey Island, Iceland in 2019. I posted an image of the more brightly colored female from this spot some time ago, but don't think I ever posted the male.

These are lovely birds... Maybe large in the frame, it could go looser for me, Nice image.

Lovely shot I like the processing and colours. I too would prefer a looser and perhaps 3:2 crop, a lower angle may have appeared better but I appreciate low angles are not always possible.

Very nice Bill! I know the exact spot where you took this!
Perfect HA and parallel body position.
Agree on a bit more room all around.Colors are spot on!

Love his direct stare and mild scowl, Bill! Details and color are really nice, and the textured water is pretty. Agree about more room all around. But a really solid frame otherwise!

Hi Bill ... looks good overall .
Nice pose and the perfect head turn ... neat colors
Agree about a bit more room and maybe a classical 3x2 crop .

Thank you all. The reason for the crop was that there were some distracting reflections outside the cropped area. I considered widening the crop and cloning them out, but opted for the pano.
