    Default Twilight Fire...

Had just finished some flight images with sun setting on clear horizon. Was leaving wetlands when this beauty was spotted against fiery BG. The combo of BG pond apple with many dying leaves and the blood red/orange post sunset sky made for a cool BG. It was getting darker, so left flight settings. Out of camera 2/3 stop underexposed and pulled up in PP. This beauty has a scar behind the eye in the upper third of eye which ran through the eye ring. The subject is in the shade of the twilight glow while the BG has full glow.

GORGEOUS LIGHT! You might consider a bit of crop off viewer's right. TFS

The orange BG is very nice, but I find the plant really distracting because it's asserting itself in the background and around the subject. You also needed a bit more head turn toward s
you to make this fully connect.

I like that sweet BG color, sharpness and composition. I do see Dorian's point about the vegetation but still a good frame to me, TFS David.
