    Interesting pose. I wish for a bit more of a head turn to the birds right.
    Nice comp and BG.A bit of purple cast to the neck.

    Hi David, very simple frame and the subject looks nice against the smooth green.

    Appears nice and sharp and dof was sufficient. Perhaps the whites on the head are just a touch hot? May want to selective burn or multiply there.

    Also, this might be a candidate for a 5x4 or even 7x5 (looks 3x2 but didn't verify)? That way you could get a little more room on the left for balance. Just a suggestion.

    Hi David, one of my favorite birds for portraits when the opportunity presents. I agree with Gail that the head angle is awkward, either more to the right or left would be better. Also as Gail mentioned there is a purple color cast. Thank you for sharing.
