    Just beautiful detail and color on this beauty and I love the marsh environment as represented by the perch and the BG. Perfect framing for a great canvas overall for me.

    I only would have preferred the subject to be higher in the frame - everything else checks my boxes! What a cute an plump individual!

    Jonathan, very simple but pleasing image.

    Despite the sun angle being a little more head on than perpendicular, it presents well as we can see the iris and pupil well and a faint catchlight.

    Perch isn't all world but the bkg really makes this one. I could see one with the subject a little higher up.

    Nicely done.

    Sharp, well-exposed view of this little bird, Jonathan. Love the details on the face and feet, and the subject really cracks on the hella smooth BG. My only issue is the pose; I wish we could
    see more of his back and tail. He's a bit blob-like now. But the direct stare to the camera is really nice!
