Very nice David. Wish I could put my finger on what I like so much about this. I can't but I keep looking at it. the colors above and in front of the eye, the green tinted feathers in the neck, the colors in the bill. Nice job. TFS

Hi David cool portrait .
Pleasing background and there is a ton of detail ...
Here on my screen the blacks are a tiny bit dense , for my liking , but your call how far you push the blacks .
Just for my interest ... do these birds have that green tinted feathers , might be ??!!
Nice one David

Professor Liedman, As this was low light, I put the WB dropper on the whitest chin feather and this is what I got... So, not sure, but my guess is it is a little off... Yours and all help always greatly appreciated.

took a closer look and the green tinted feathers are actually " chromatic aberrations " . So your WB should be correct .... even if you are posting the image in Adobe RGB
. Might address that ... tiny " Issue " for the future postings .
Professor Liedmann has spoken ....
....hopefully the student will listen .
Cheers David
OK, professor, in camera Adobe RGB, in DPP use Camera setting as I believe you've instructed. So, I assume change to sRGB in PS. If so when? Sorry for being a difficult student...

Photoshop :
Export
Save for web : then you will have the export window
sRGB box needs to be ticked ( red arrow ) and then you must be good to go !!!!
and the embed color profile box as well
Cheers Professor HC
Much appreciated, as always. I've been using save as and not save for web when converting to jpg. Will look into this for better grade.
