    Hi folks ...
    still from the archives . Image was taken back in 2015 at a local town pond .
    Wish I could have gone lower , but due to the location it was not possible .
    Side light might be not that ideal in many cases ... I personally like it ... as it is easier to create depth in the image , IMHO.

    Canon EOS 1Dx
    EF 200 - 400 IS L with TC engaged ( 560 mm )
    Tripod

    F 7,1 ; Iso 3200 ; 1/1250 sec ; man exp

    Processed with DPP 4 and PSCC 2021 ; cropped for pano composition

    Love Mandarins, love of the most beautiful ducks. I am fine with the lighting, it is soft enough to work well. The comp works for this pose.
