    One of my backyard birds. It would have been nice if he had raised his crest for me, but he was only there for a second or two.

    D500, Sigma 150-600 C @ 400mm, ISO 1600, 1/1000 @ f/7.1 manual.

    Lovely frame Bill.

    The rich reds pop nicely on the dramatic green bkg.

    Subject is cute and gave you a nice broadside shot; if only he'd have slid a touch more right on the branch but still very effective as is.

    Big crop at all? Feel like maybe you could have gotten a bit more sharpness on the subject. Overall, very pretty though!
