Beautiful image Jonathan details are great love the blues. Wish for a softer background as it is distracting. I guess rain drops I would get rid of just don't work here. Perch is really neat little different love the lichens. Works well here.TFS

The BG does not bother me too much, but I do wish the subject was higher in the frame - this would have had a secondary effect of cutting back on some of that that BG. I agree there are not enough rain drops to keep them in. Great bird, good perch. I love those blue feathers on the wing.

Hi Jon ... funny looking Jay with head down facing .
Overall it does look good to me . Nice perch and the BG is smooth enough .
Color is matter of taste ... here on my screen ... I might drop the cyans / blues fraction in the lighter parts of the subject . Just a thought ....

Nice one ... was this shot from the bear hide ??? Or at the lodge ??
