I like the overall composition David. Nice and sharp on the birds... I like how the bird on the right is almost parallel to the bird on the left, and the open wing is eye catching. Exposure on the whites look good and the background compliments nicely. Cool foreground!

Hi David a nice behavioral shot . The BG is nicely separated .... FG a bit cluttered but nothing you can do about .
For me overall a bit too dark and the colors are partially " OFF " , just my 2 cents .

Looks good here David....I like both poses and the delicate look on a large bird in that situation...

David, nice behavior capture. I like the mirrored head down positions and wings up on the right.

It does feel a little dark/underexposed. You can probably easily adjust that.

Otherwise, I'd prefer a touch more above and touch less below if possible. And you may want to brush out some blues on the subjects as evident in the whites primarily but also on the black primaries on right.

Thanks to all for very valued help, as always. This was ETTR out of camera and I pulled back to this as I liked the white on darker BG look. Just my preference. This was an overcast rainy morning just before sunrise. Lucky to get the eastern soft glow as catch light. I did warm a little but this seems close to what I saw. Again, through my partially color blind eyes. Thanks again to all for the very valued help and Andreas, your "2 cents" is worth a lot more to me.
