    Default Florida Burrowing Owl

Another image of a Florida Burrowing Owl from our journey to Cape Coral, Florida last Saturday morning. For those not familiar with these owls, a large owl is about nine inches tall. Instead of a nest above ground they inhabit burrows that they did into the ground. Comments and critique welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for viewing.

Good direct stare, and Cape Coral setting. Nice that the flowers are still blooming in Florida.

Love the low POV and framing with flowers for balance. Nice straight on stare for a lovely canvas overall. TFS

Joe, this is really pretty for me man.

Better light angle, gorgeous smooth color transitions in the bkg, perfect [placement] of the grasses and love the oof flowers.

Creative choice going with the panoramic crop and it works nicely. I could also see one with either a bit more above and below (let the feet breathe) or a 2x3 ending just inside the left blade sticking up.

    Congrats on a great one!
