Another from my set up....These wee guys never go near the feeders nor the perches....Very timid birds and mostly feed on the ground below the feeders. When this wee guy hopped up onto this sawn off tree, I took a few shots....I thought this one portrayed him/her perfectly...looking up, and waiting for a crumb.

Will this is a cute frame. I don't know I would have felt as much without the story but thanks for sharing.

Great detail and neat perspective. Pretty blend of greens and magentas behind.

I think I understand why you left the trunk on the right. It would have been neat maybe having some branches hanging down in upper right or something. But the fact that the trunk is OOF makes me a little indifferent.

Wonder if you thought of a vertical, maybe 5x4 or something with bottom left as your anchor? You know, looking up and right to the sky?

Hi Will, works for me. The color palette compliments the bird, nice detail on the bird, pure background. I can appreciated the snow while living in the land of no snow (my memories or it are now twenty years past). Thank you for sharing.

Really love this frame. Works well with the story and just as well without. Without the story the glance adds interest as I wonder what draws attention. The EXP and BG work well as well. TFS

I like the perch with snow, I would either crop tighter or get rid of the trunk on right side.

I like it Will, it was about the moment and the composition conveys it.

Thanks guys for the comments.....Hi Brian...The reason I left the tree in was that my feeders were on the tree, and that is what the Dunnock was looking at.........But yes, I can see where you are coming from and a different crop may make a more pleasing to the eye image...I suppose I left the tree in, as I was there, and knew the circumstances....

    Will
