    Through all that water lettuce and duckweed this beauty still came up with a few snacks from this perch. Tried level view had too many other low branches so went with top view and aquatic plants as BG.

    Yes..well cropped David, I like the POV...I really like the feather detail...good colours throughout, although I may try toning the BG down a wee bit.

    David, very unique perspective on this one. I can see why others might like it but it doesn't work quite as well for me. Maybe for a taxonomic sake it can work nicely but I just find myself wishing for eye contact.

    Agree with Will that the brighter patches in the moss or whatever it is in the bkg is a bit distracting.

    Very nice shot I quite like the angle and the DOF is good. I would be inclined to tone down the background and the perch slightly.
