This is the same ultra-tame individual I posted a tight portrait of recently. The strategy here was to place a small seed-pile to keep it busy long enough to hurry into place and wait for it to make its approach and then pick the best poses to process. This is freshly fallen fluffy snow, so no detail is to be had in it (especially a cloudy day), except the little bit that is within dof. I love the look anyhow :-)

Hi Daniel , cool work .
Nice to see some little bit of detail in the snow . Like the raised foot and the overall punch to the colors and tones , working well together .
Your patience paid off
Love high key Daniel and what not to like coming right at you with the stare. Processed well and the raised foot adds . Is nice to see some detail in the snow. TFS
Perfect image for high key effect. Raised foot, top knot, stare all work well. Agree about the small area of snow with some detail helps anchor the bird.
