I cannot ID, pose and reflection is nice. I would take some off top or move from bottom to center this.

Joe, love the washed/desaturated effect here. The fact that the only parts IF are the subject, it's reflection and the wake left behind works really well. And the strut def adds.

It doesn't have a ton of detail in it, which we might not expect with a smaller in frame composition but the overall effect is probably enough to overcome.

Composition comment above has merit IMO. Also, a catchlight could give it a good boost.

Great work on the overall canvas!

Greater. Take it to the bank. The bill is slightly upturned, dramatically two-toned, and ~1.5X the depth of the skull.

As for the image, it looks like you've pushed the contrast a bit to get the dramatic, high key effect (the primary tips aren't jet back on this species). I like the horizontal positioning to keep the wake, but I think the bird is too low in the frame; the top is entirely empty while the reflection feel like it might fall off the bottom. I would also consider adding a catchlight to the eye. The bird is a bit lifeless without it.

Love the high-key look, but agree with everything Dorian said.
