I am impressed with you guys able to achieve a sharp full frame image with these long lenses. I am still practicing considering this is again a significant crop. Still, I like the image but it needs to be viewed a bit from a distance. Appreciate your feedback.

Frank congratulations on the capture so neat coming in for a landing. Love the wing position along with the water drops. Love the dark background. I think lightening up the duck in the dark areas you could get some more detail and more sharpening. Looks like the crop held up rather well. Your background
is so nice might clone those streaks behind the duck making the background more even. TFS

    Excellent, dynamic landing pose.
    Great BG.
I think you could go 1/3 stop higher in exposure (protecting the white thigh) and that would also improve the color balance in the image,

Thank you both for the suggestions. I took your advise and lightened the image a bit (1/3 stop at 80% opacity) while protecting the right thigh as well as the left wing. Great suggestion and the image looks a lot better. I have not messed with the background as yet.

    Again, thanks for the feedback.

Looking good Frank....yes to slightly more exposure but what a great flight pose you captured....The bird looks so good against that lovely BG...

excellent wing position and nice details too, looks great even for a big crop. I was hoping to find one of these last week but no luck

as presented image is a bit dark and has a greenish cast to it, should be easy fix in PP

    Frank:

Good comments from the crew. Dynamic pose, soft background with just enough texture to add some depth. Def. agree with Arash about the color cast.

    Cheers

Super dynamic pose, and I like the fluffed feathers as the birds stalls/lands. I agree with the others about adding more light and removing the greenish cast. Such a sweet look at the tail!
