    another frame from a couple of days ago, rarely see coots flying. this one had taken off from mud and did not wash his feet in time for the photo



    shot with A9 II and 600 GM + 2X TC ISO-1600 f/8 1/3200 sec hand held processed with C1P.

    A terrific Coot shot but their feet are great, I wish they were not mud covered.

    Are you feeling OK? A coot?!!?? Regardless, its a really beautiful image of an under-appreciated bird, so well done. Love the topside view, and I think the mud on the feet adds interest. Only suggestion would be to clone out the reflected catchlight in the eye.

    @Dorian saw quite a few ducks at MV shoreline, not the exotic kinds but lots of solvers, wigeon and cinnamon teals... will post a few more coots lol
