    My 20mm landscape lens does nice sunbursts, but this is first
    for my tele lens....
    Female Goldfinch a couple days ago.

    Hi Dan. Sorry, but the lighting is too harsh for me, especially the head. Others will feel differently I'm sure. Cheers.

    Cool design, though too large in the frame and as already mentioned harsh light was against you. TFS

    I think the bird needs space all around and the Light is a bit too harsh.
    Try to see if you can reduce the highlights.

    The catchlight is great. Would like to see more room all around.
