Awesome low POV (so, what's new) with great FG and BG. Pose, details and framing also off the charts. TFS

love the low angle and the open bill, Loon looks like it has some motion blur in the head area ? the calm water and BG are on the money

Super image Randy and the low POV just makes it. What causes the blue in the whites of the plumages?

HI Randy, lovely image. The low POV creates a wonderful palette for the bird. Thank you for sharing.

Yes to the open bill and the killer low perspective. The light from the left hurts and the bird angling away is not a good thing.

Low shooting angle is very nice, angle on bird as noted but still a very nice frame, the water is great.

Hi Randy .. a real cracker for me .
Super low POV and the smooth FG and BG is priceless good . Cool pose of the subject .
Tones are spot on as is the sharpness .
For me the blues are a bit too intense .... and not only in the lighter areas .... well at least in my opinion .
Cool fieldwork and pleasure to look at .
