    Here's one that I feel many will not like, but hey, each to their own. I spotted these Wood Ducks in a procession I've never seen before, but wasn't able to get closer or with the sun behind me. I decided that despite the ducks not being overly sharp and with a busy background I still liked the composition. YMMV.

    Hi Paul, self critique spot on and I too love the behavioral aspect of this canvas. Softer light would have helped some. TFS

    Paul, I think it would have been almost impossible not to take the image! The lighting and the numerous lilies don't help but it is good to see a dozen ducklings following their mum.

    Hi Paul , such a great and very sweet line up !!!
    Defenetly worth taking the image.
    What are these " coarse artifacts " in FG and BG ??? Besides the harsh contrast , what has amplified the coarseness ??

    Life is easy. Bird photography is hard. Yes to cute but the background bokeh or whatever it is is horrific
