    Default Tiger Salamander for breakfast

Shot this Ring-billed Gull last June in a Nd slough. About a third was cropped and added canvas at the top to replace the sky. Processed with Dpp 4,Photoshop,Topaz noise. I was sitting in my floatable blind when the Gull flew in and didn't have time to change any settings. I was happy to just get some frames as
the lens was mounted on a gimball and hard to shoot up. Funny how the gull flew around for awhile like showing off that let me capture some other frames. Thanks for the comments and critiques.

Kevin, beautiful light and a preferred wing position are a great start. The Salamander in tow definitely brings it up.

Pretty nice details on the wing underside. Exposure looks good and really like the rich green bkg. I do see a faint wing clone remnant in UL corner.

Was this a big crop? I only ask because it feels a touch small in frame, especially with dinner in the mouth. Would be great to get a closer look.

Nice job adding canvas and even grabbing the shot being set up in the blind!

Pretty cool prey item! Noc elight, sharpness, BG. Cleaning u that cloning remnant would be well worth it. I love the sparkling water drops on the wing.

what a cool and unusual frame, nice light and BG. whites aren't blown but on the border, I think you can extract more detail there

Neat-o! For the repost I got rid of the ghost of a wing and then blurred the BKGR a bit. Are the feathery things feet or gills?

    Is this a pre-adult stage?
