    A bird with alien looking feet, this image of an American Coot was captured at Lake Mirror in Lakeland, Florida. Comments and critique welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for viewing.

    Nikon D500
    Nikon 80-400mm F/4.5-5.6 VRII AF-S ED, camera and lens supported by a monopod
    1/2000 F/5.6 Matrix Metering EV 0 ISO 900 Auto 1 WB, image captured at 400mm (600mm 35mm equivalent)
    Post processed in Lightroom Classic, Photoshop CC 2021 and Neat Image for noise reduction when needed
    Cropped from 2x3 to 4x5 for composition and presentation

    Good job on the high contrast, blacks look good, the bill looks good but I am sure you could get a little more detail there.

    Very well done. Those beaks are difficult on this subject, but I think you handled it nicely.

    looks good to me overall. Nice head turn and the overall tonal range is nice . Truck loads of detail .
