AKA 'In The Bleak Mid Winter, Frosty Winds made Moan'....This is another from my set up....Back Lit, frosty morning winter sun, heavily filtered by the surrounding trees...Most of my front light came from the reflective snow on the ground.

Hi Will...Superb! Just called my wife to view this, as it's her favourite bird...and haven't seen one since the last time we were in the UK (we're both originally from London). Love the pose, detail, perch, BG...everything (maybe a more eye level view would be my only nitpic) TFS

Yeah, the bird is slightly overhead, but the pose, perch, and - especially - details are excellent. Composition is spot on. Not much I'd change here. Image is a bit cool, mostly the background, but the color looks representative of the lighting conditions.

Will you definitely nailed this details and color sharpness are superb. So much different than our Robin here in the states. Love the branch not so sure about the larger moss on the left. May remove some ,just my personnel like. That is getting too picky.Boy I sure do like your background it goes well here. Background really makes a difference. TFS

Will, gorgeous man. I couldn't really find a thing to balk at on this one.

Same perch as last? Sharp and IF across the image, beautiful colors. A+

Perhaps a fraction high Will, but you have the colours spot on and it conveys a nice winter feel, all you need is some snow... sharpening looks spot on too, not over sharpened with halos.

BTW I gather Rothiemurchus because of CV-19 is planning to charge a hire fee for branches now.

    Keep them coming

Excellent capture of this beauty, William. I like his level on the perch, and the over the shoulder looking back with nice eye contact. Outstanding background as well.

Hi Will another compliment from my front .
Does look good overall , I am fine with the slight under view .... and I do like the busy perch .
Overall nice colors and the winter feel is quite obvious ... might go selectively warmer in the subject , very little though

Cool frame , well done and TFS Andreas

Has almost a winter feel to it. Even though there is no snow in the frame. Nice pose on the robin. I like that lichen covered perch as well.
