Hi all ... time for some variation in the postings .

Grey seal pup keeping an eye on me , while I was taking photographs of him . I have images with eyes open ..... but thought I choose this one for a more unusual expression in the face . I quite like the " control look " of the pup .
Image taken on Helgoland back in 2017 , during my last visit .... well time is flying by . Conditions have changed a lot since then .... too many rules for visitors for decent photography , so I decided not to visit again .

Gorgeous Andreas, I can also see a version with some off the RHS and more negative on the LHS, a commercial/stock image for sure.

IQ appears better here at ISO10k than the cubs at 1600.

Looks pretty much idyllic superfine detail in dark and light tones - well done

Just great how that one eye is barely open. Nice low angle and image quality looks quite good for the ISO.

Really like the funny look he is giving you Andreeas. He looks like he just woke upo from a deep sleep. The color of the BG and FG just make hiim stand out so nicely. How did you espose to get this IQ at 10.000 ISO? ( learnig the roppes of ETTR)

Very easy ..... Dan .... expose to the right without blowing the highlights . And a gentle hand in post processing is required , IMHO

Excellent job Andreas not only on the pup but also in the sand. The whiskers really stand out details on the fur on the face. Nice view of the pup at rest. TFS
