David, I like the lift pose but bummer on the clipped wings.

A bit of fun with the second subject hunkered down and nice we can see the eye.

Unfortunately, overall it's a very busy canvas and not much room for the subject on left to fly into.

Hi David ... nicely timed shot . Take off is cool .
For me the image does have several shortcomings .... BG too busy , clipped wing . I think the image can stand a exposure lift , plus your colors are somewhat " dirty " due to the white balance . But as I know your issue with the colors ... I can only repeat use the eye dropper and learn to deal with the colors by the numbers .

Thanks to everyone for your valued help. Andreas, thanks for your inputs and the whites are too grey for sure. This is primarily a behavioral image and the environment is what it is. Thanks again... Oh, and understand the dropper but what is meant by colors by the numbers? Would love for you to clarify...

Hi David ... the color correction by the numbers is too complex to explain it here in two phrases .

Just ask MR Google ( color correction by RGB numbers ) .... you will find lots of information to read about that . Makes life easier for people who are having trouble with seeing colors " correcty" .
