I was at Circle B Bar Reserve recently and saw this female Red-winged Blackbird perched on a dead Fire Flag stem. I locked focus on the bird and as I started to squeeze the shutter the bird took flight. The first image of three was the perched bird, this is the second image of that burst. Comments and critique welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for viewing.

Hi Joseph really cool frame from the context POV . Nice BG and isolated subject .
Pose is priceless good .
For me personally the sharpness is not 100% .... at least the head is not . Looks like the sharpness is lying behind the head
Thanks everyone for viewing and commenting. Here is the bird when the shutter was pressed. The head did move to the left and towards the camera and with only 0.25m/about 9 inches depth of field not enough to keep the head sharp. This is a post of when the sequence of images began.

Joe, like the concept. Bkg is super and perch is kinda funky fun.
Unique wing position, although blurred. Comments on sharpness noted above. Also would've preferred no motion blur at the end of the perch in the og post.
