    Another nice image John. I think you have cornered the market on these deer. I think the image has suffered somewhat at the ISO, but considering pretty impressive.
    Love the moss on the tree. I never shot that high with my Mark 1V.Well done and TFS.

    Great to see the behaviour, I guess you went portrait for good reason, quality looks pretty good for that ISO. When do these bucks shed antlers? Surely rutting is well over now?

    The rut is over for this year. They start shedding right about now. I saw a buck the other night fully shed, than another with a half rack.
