Nice flight pose on the swan. The wings looks rather gray. I guess the bird could have looked like that.

Hi Dan, good flight pose with the down stroke of the wings. The light looks nice and soft, and the trailing droplets look good.

Love the pose, framing, BG, details and trailing water. Yes for going a tad brighter. TFS

Nice BG color, good wing position and all around fine image. I am fine with the brightness. The whites look good. I think it's just a dirty bird...lol

Dan, as an overall canvas this rocks. Beautiful, sharp view of this majestic bird on a killer bkg. Nice comp.

I too noticed what appears to be a very gray near wing. Any idea if that's from reducing HL or something in post or just that way?

Thanks all, I did lower the whites way more than needed, it was dull flat light and I did not need to.

Looks good, particularly the face at one end and the droplets at the other. I don't think the bird looks grayed; it was cloudy so the whites weren't gonna gleam. A bit more room behind would be nice, if you have it. But not a deal breaker.

    Dan:

I am a big fan of swans, so appreciate your shot. The wings are in the 190 or so range, and def. look nicer at 220 or so at least. Personal choice, but it makes the bird pop a bit more against the muted background,

You are fortunate to live in such a productive spot. Keep up the good work.

    Cheers
