    Happy holidays to everyone, hope 2021 will be a better year for all

    this frame was taken a few days ago, we had a clear day and the golden sun peaked from beneath the clouds creating the orange tones. The mouse wasn't so fortunate


    taken with A9 II and 600GM + 2X TC (1200mm) f/8 ISO-1600 1/3200sec hand held processed with C1P.

    Superb as usual. I suppose if one were inclined to quibble, maybe a little better view of the prey's head.

    thanks Jack he had decapitated the unfortunate mouse on the ground. Usually they tuck the mouse in pretty well with only the tail visible. The prize is of course a food exchange shot where the male drops the mouse and the female catches it in flight. Have yet to get one of those shots. Happens only early in the nesting season...

    Killer frame. The lighting is perfect. Great detail in both whites and blacks. Love the detail on the visible foot.
