    Nice image. Love the color palate. Maybe dodge the eye ring a little to bring out detail and lose one of the catchlights.

    I would get rid of the double catchlight and brighten the single one,,,Great subject.

    I like the low angle, exposure control, and agree with removing one of the catchlights. I have never seen an Eider in person yet. Nice image John.

    Awesome! My kinda low angle shorebird frame. These guys were everywhere in Massachusetts when I lived there, but I never managed anything this nice. Love the lighting, exposure, detail, and head angle. Agree with catchlight cleanup but wouldn't change anything else. Bow wave is money. I'd love to have this in my collection. I birded Barnegate all the time was a Philly kid but haven't been back as a shooter. Parents still in Philly so I need to plan a winter visit to do this and Wall of Shame in MD!
