    I captured this image at Lake Morton in Lakeland, Florida. Comments and critique welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for viewing.

    Nikon D500
    Nikon 500mm F/5.6 VR AF-S ED PF HH
    1/2000 F/5.6 Matrix Metering EV 0 ISO 160 Auto 1 WB, image captured at 500mm (750mm 35mm equivalent)
    Post processed in Lightroom Classic, Photoshop CC 2021 and Neat Image for noise reduction when needed
    Cropped for composition and presentation

    Joe, I think you did a nice job here. Super sharp, exposed nicely and you processed it well RE shadows.

    White on blue usually works really well as it does in this one.

    Only suggestion for improvement would be a little more 1/4 light angle vs the more perpendicular angle as shown.

    Nice and sharp. The detail in the whites look very nice. Like the side glance you got here.

    Lovely color and detail, Joseph. Envious as I'm still searching for a decent frame of this species. They're common around here but never in suitable photographic surrounds or range. Only Suggestion beyond what others have offered would be to move him up in the frame, if you can. Lotta space above and not much below.

    Hi Dorian, thank you for viewing and commenting. I hear you regarding the placement of the bird. I was trying to get rid of as much of the yucky choppy looking water below the bird. I'll take another look at the image. Thanks again...
