    Joe:

One of my favorite Florida birds, such characters.

Splash and the wing position gives a sense of action, fairly tight framing but because of the pose and the downward action of the birds head, works for me.

I could see a version with a 1/3 stop less exposure.

Wish the eye was a bit more visible.

    Cheers

Joe, these are pretty birds. A bit envious of some of the saltwater species you all have there.

Kind of a neat wing lift pose, which I think works pretty well. The downside would be the shadow the wings create.

In terms of brightness, it feels a touch bright on the Macbook but actually really nice on the NEC. Also wish for a bit more eye contact. Details look nice.

Classic reddish fishing pose. Some eye contact would be nice here. But, I do like the position of the wings.

Nice action. Agree Exposure could be reduced by 1/3 stop.

Do you need Noise reduction for ISO 220 ?

Hi Krishna, thank you for viewing and commenting. I use Neat Image for noise reduction on all my images regardless of what the ISO is. That being said, I only use it if the image has a pure background that Neat Image and it's algorithms care determine what is noise and what is detail in the image. The default setting is 60%. I have not noticed any loss of detail as long as the area sampled by Neat Image is smooth/pure without any detail such as a out of focus background. Thanks again, Krishna.
