Default Cattle Egret in full flight

My last post had a flight pose with fully extended wings upwards. Here is a flight pose with wings, fully extended downwards. At this location, if one times the flight path of any subject flying by, you can capture them against this distant tree BG. Otherwise, its a mottled sky/tree BG. A scruffy individual. At this location, I always shoot manual exposure. Taken early morning.

Stu, very nice wing down pose. Lighting is beautifully angled to avoid shadows, tons of feather detail and the white on green pops really well.

    Love the composition. Great work!

That's the wing position I was hoping for in my egret in autumn image from a couple of weeks ago! I kinda wish for a less "dirty" wing, but I suppose plumage variations and time of year make for differently marked individuals. Good BG, sharpness, comp.
