    I love the greens here. Seems the storms have done a good job. The back portion of the elk, due to its light colour and positioning, attracts more attention. If the body would have been parallel to the image plane, then the bright hind portion would not have appeared. The Velvet looks lovely. Would love to see a head and antlers composition from you. Overall, I like this image.

    ISO 1600? It seems you are doing a much better job with the high ISOs of the 40D than I can. :-(

    Real nice all around Steve Sure do like those look back poses and the bg is just right !!!

    Agree on how well it looks for the high ISO Have been looking closely and don't see any detrimental areas from noise reduction !!!

    Really like the green saturation in this image. I like the look back pose... Nice comp. Well done

    I really like the colors, pose, and composition of this one Steve. ISO 1,600! I'm impressed with the quality. Did you have to do any noise reduction here?

    Great image! I like the turned pose and the way the elk seems to pop off the wonderful green BG.
