    Not too sure about this John, was the buck so dark or was he perhaps underexposed?

    I like the layering of the FG and BG, the fact that the deer has plenty of space to look into and the snow on the head. The head angle is good and the ears suggest an alert pose.

    He's wet darker than normal.
